Oral history interview with Steven A. Benton, 2003 August 24.

This interview surveys Benton's career in the field of holography research. Benton, working at the Polaroid Corporation in the late 1960s, developed a variant of holography known popularly as 'rainbow holography,' which permitted holograms to be viewed in white light. He joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the early 1980s, and was later a founding member of the MIT Media Laboratory.
